Ohio Mutual Receives Ward’s 50 Honor for a Seventh Year

BUCYRUS, OH – Aon plc today recognized Ohio Mutual Insurance Group among the nation’s top 50 insurers, as a member of the prestigious “Ward’s 50®” for a seventh year.

“Ohio Mutual is honored to receive such distinguished recognition for a seventh year,” said Ohio Mutual President & CEO Mark C. Russell. “This honor is a result of great commitment and collaboration among our associates, agents, and business partners, and we are proud to be named once again among the best insurers in the country.”

Each year, Aon’s Ward compares and benchmarks key financial metrics for nearly 2,900 property and casualty insurers in the United States. The top 50 companies are then awarded the “Ward’s 50®” Seal and named to the “Ward’s 50® Top Performers” list for the year.

Each company named to the “Ward’s 50®” has excelled at balancing safety, consistency, and superior financial performance over the past five years, and is then benchmarked against the industry overall.

Ohio Mutual Insurance Group, founded in 1901 and based in Bucyrus, OH, partners with more than 400 independent agencies to distribute quality property and casualty insurance products throughout Connecticut, Indiana, Maine, New Hampshire, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
